  • School interventions
School interventions should include a team approach across multiple settings, consisting of bothpreventive and intervention strategies.    Interventions must be based upon assessment data that includes information about the student’s strengths and needs as well as the environmental conditions in which her characteristics of ADHD occur.    Progress monitoring and strategy adjustments are critical to the success of any intervention plan (Wolraich & DuPaul, 2010).   The first step in creating classroom supports for students with ADHD is understanding thestudents’ strengths and needs. This involves formal and informal assessment, as well ascollaboration among educational professionals and the students’ families.    If a student is not responsive to behavioral strategies and interventions, more intensive interventions, such as functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention plans, should be considered (see Practical FBA).    No one intervention is universally effective for all students with ADHD. A combination of research-based and promising practices is recommended.    Here are several of these practices:

  • Quality AS
Quality assurance can be defined as "part of quality management focused on providing confidence that quality requirements will be fulfilled." The confidence provided by quality assurance is twofold—internally to management and externally to customers, government agencies, regulators, certifiers, and third parties. An alternate definition is "all the planned and systematic activities implemented within the quality system that can be demonstrated to provide confidence that a product or service will fulfill requirements for quality."

  • Technological advancements
Technologies. People often ask, what exactly do you mean by “breakthrough”? It’s a reasonable question—some of our picks haven’t yet reached widespread use, while others may be on the cusp of becoming commercially available. What we’re really looking for is a technology, or perhaps even a collection of technologies, that will have a profound effect on our lives. For this year, a new technique in artificial intelligence called GANs is giving machines imagination; artificial embryos, despite some thorny ethical constraints, are redefining how life can be created and are opening a research window into the early moments of a human life; and a pilot plant in the heart of Texas’s petrochemical industry is attempting to create completely clean power from natural gas—probably a major energy source for the foreseeable future. These and the rest of our list will be worth keeping an eye on.

  • Driving Rules
Understanding traffic signs is essential. Traffic signs act as silent conductors of the traffic on the road. Any person who holds a driving licence and is eligible to drive a vehicle should have proper knowledge of traffic signs. The government has made it mandatory for any person who wants to obtain a driving licence to be well-versed with the traffic signs.

  • Nature
Wildlife & Nature Protection Society The history of wildlife protection in Sri Lanka is almost synonymous with that of the Wildlife and Nature Protection Society of Sri Lanka. At 126 years old, the WNPS is the third oldest Non-governmental Organization of its kind in the World and was responsible for the setting up of Wilpattu & Yala National Parks in Sri Lanka, and for the formation of the Department of Wildlife Conservation

  • Current Issues in the Education of Students with Visual Impairments
Abstract Increasingly, educators are being challenged to use educational strategies that have been proven to be effective through high-quality research. As could be expected of a low-incidence disability in a field with few researchers, educators of students with visual impairments have limited research-based information to guide practice. The purpose of this chapter is to selectively examine the current state of evidence-based practices for the education of students with visual impairments and to briefly review the context for the evidence-based practice movement. In addition to identifying evidence-based practices and potential evidence-based practices for students with visual impairments, recommendations for advancing the identification of effective practices for students with visual impairments are presented. https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/social-sciences/educational-strategies

  • Qualitative Data Collection and Instrument Design
Key Method The educator or district leader determines the necessary qualitative data to collect and also identifies the types of instruments, timeline, and participants involved in the data collection. The educator or district leader reviews publicly available research instruments and uses these to create data collection instruments, such as a survey that includes open-ended questions, one or more interview, or focus group protocol(s) to gather qualitative data from pilot participants. Method Components 1. Identify the metrics you would like to measure. The first step in data collection is to explicitly articulate the metrics that need to be collected. Consider the goal or research question involved in this project to identify the appropriate data necessary to answer your question or measure the success of a pilot.

  • Agri-foodtech solution
Agri-foodtech can help to mend many of these bridges, make the agri-food industry more sustainable, transparent, agile, and able to respond more quickly to changing consumer demands. Issues such as food waste, which occurs across the food chain, can be better solved with a more holistic view of the industry, for example. Viewing agri-food as a single industry that spans the value chain from farm to fork can also help engage consumers early with technologies that go into food production to avoid backlash, and raise awareness of issues on the farm such as soil health and environmental impact. On the consumer side, companies as diverse as Blue Apron, Heinz, and Costco, are now working directly with growers to address various challenges and opportunities in their own supply chain. On the agriculture side, farming cooperatives like Land O’ Lakes are building powerful food brands, while companies like Soufflet in France have built a portfolio that spans ag retail, grain trading, food processing, consumer packaged goods (CPG) and catering. Similarly, Rabobank started as a farmer’s cooperative but has become the world’s largest food and agriculture-focused bank. We’re also seeing the convergence of agriculture and food in venture capital where VC funds like Avrio Capital and S2G Ventures invest seamlessly across the agri-food value chain.
