  • Prasarita Padahastasana (Standing Forward Bend with Feet Apart Pose)
In Prasarita Padahastasana posture, the legs are spread wide apart, and the upper body is bent forward from the hips, reaching towards the floor. The arms are stretched out, and the palms are placed flat on the ground or on blocks. Benefits: It is considered to be a relaxing and grounding posture that can help to stretch the hamstrings, hips, and lower back and also calm the mind. Who should avoid: People with lower back pain, knee injuries, or tight hamstrings may need to use props such as blocks to support the upper body and relieve pressure on the lower back. Additionally, individuals with neck or spinal injuries may need to keep their heads elevated and avoid bending forward too far. This yoga pose during pregnancy in the third trimester may also need to be avoided or modified with the support of props.

  • Follow these tips to keep your teeth and gums healthy:
Brush your teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste. Clean between teeth regularly, aiming for once a day. Use dental floss or a special brush or wooden or plastic pick recommended by a dental professional. Or try a floss holder, floss threader, or water flosser. Visit the dentist for routine check-ups and professional cleaning. If you are at a high risk for tooth decay (for example, if you have a dry mouth because of medicines you take), your dentist or dental hygienist may give you a fluoride treatment, such as a varnish or foam during the office visit. Or, the dentist may recommend a fluoride gel or mouth rinse for home use. If you are at higher risk for gum disease because of a medical condition (for example, diabetes), your dentist may want to see you more frequently. Drink fluoridated water. Drinking water with the right amount of fluoride protects your teeth throughout the day. Learn the fluoride content of your community’s water here or check with your water utility company.

  • Screen Size, Resolution, and Viewport: What does it all mean?
When you buy a device, you will often see both screen size and resolution listed in the specs. The screensize is the physical measurement diagonally of the screen in inches. This is not to be confused with the resolution, which is the number of pixels on the screen often displayed as a width by height (i.e. 1024×768). Because devices with the same screen size can have very different resolutions, developers use viewports when they’re creating mobile friendly pages. Viewports are scaled down versions of resolutions that allows sites to be viewed more consistently across different devices. Viewports are often more standardized and smaller than resolution sizes. While desktop and laptop displays are in landscape orientation (wider than tall), many mobile devices can be rotated to show websites in both landscape and portrait (taller than wide) orientations. This means that designers and developers must design for these differences. Need help determining if your website is responsive? Use our free MG tool, Responsive Design Checker. While desktop and laptop displays are in landscape orientation (wider than tall), many mobile devices can be rotated to show websites in both landscape and portrait (taller than wide) orientations. This means that designers and developers must design for these differences.

A healthy diet helps to protect against malnutrition in all its forms, as well as noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), including diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer. Unhealthy diet and lack of physical activity are leading global risks to health. Healthy dietary practices start early in life – breastfeeding fosters healthy growth and improves cognitive development, and may have longer term health benefits such as reducing the risk of becoming overweight or obese and developing NCDs later in life. Energy intake (calories) should be in balance with energy expenditure. To avoid unhealthy weight gain, total fat should not exceed 30% of total energy intake (1, 2, 3). Intake of saturated fats should be less than 10% of total energy intake, and intake of trans-fats less than 1% of total energy intake, with a shift in fat consumption away from saturated fats and trans-fats to unsaturated fats (3), and towards the goal of eliminating industrially-produced trans-fats (4, 5, 6). Limiting intake of free sugars to less than 10% of total energy intake (2, 7) is part of a healthy diet. A further reduction to less than 5% of total energy intake is suggested for additional health benefits (7). Keeping salt intake to less than 5 g per day (equivalent to sodium intake of less than 2 g per day) helps to prevent hypertension, and reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke in the adult population (8). WHO Member States have agreed to reduce the global population’s intake of salt by 30% by 2025; they have also agreed to halt the rise in diabetes and obesity in adults and adolescents as well as in childhood overweight by 2025 (9, 10).

  • Best API Testing Tools for 2025
API testing is a procedure developers use to evaluate APIs' functionality, efficacy, and security. Before releasing their software, the results of API testing will inform developers if problem fixes and patches are required. They accomplish this through a simulation that entails sending queries that would reach the API when it is accessible to its users, regardless of whether it is authentic. They observe the API to determine how it will react to this volume of queries. If the results are positive, integrating the API is secure. If not, they will be required to fix it. Choosing one of the best API testing tools is crucial to ensure your tests are successful and efficient. These tools are key for examining variables like scalability, convenience of use, cost-effectiveness, and compatibility with your existing systems. It’s also important to evaluate the available resources for development and maintenance. Based on these criteria, you may select a tool that best suits your requirements and allows you to write thorough API tests.
